:)Ĭo-op horde-based first-person shooting done right. I got it on sale in the croteam VR bundle, so even if you think this game does not have enough content for you, you can buy that and have 3 other great Serious Sam games in VR. I strongly recommend you getting this game, it's very fun. This game also works perfectly on the valve index and the knuckles controllers. In a nutshell, you get points between waves in one planet, which you use for powerups, weapons and ammo and other stuff, and between planets then you get skill points to improve yourself permanently and improve your weapons. I won't go into detail, but it's made so that you can choose from a collection of many weapons right from the start of the game, so you don't have to fight with boring weapons at all, but this is irrelevant for the overall progression between planets. Everything is really well made, the waves are intense but also well thought trough. You have 5 different planets, each with 4 long waves, with different settings and enemies and bosses.

It is a wave shooter, and I thinks this is even better for VR than the normal games, and it's just soo much fun. This game is absolutely amazing, don't listen to the negative reviews. Can barely believe it's from the same developers! I absolutely love Croteam's The Talos Principle, but they really dropped the ball with this one. The first time I just had to click a button on the post-level screen, but if it isn't from that screen, there is seemingly no way to access the shop!Ĩ) Refunded this badly designed and generic piece of crap. Sigh.ĥ) I COULDN'T FIND THE FREAKING WEAPON SHOP MENU FOR THE LIFE OF ME. It's that well progression-paced.Ĥ) For some reason I didn't have the minigun in the weapon selection screen on the second level, so I figured it needed to have been explicitly equipped and the game didn't tell me this. and yes, you can already buy one of the most expensive weapons with the money from ONE level. Game feels like a generic wave shooter.ģ) So I used the money acquired from the first level to buy a minigun so I wouldn't have to manually shoot so much. By the end of the first level my fingers were already tired of pressing the trigger: you have to shoot many many times in a single level. There is one more difficulty after this: I don't think even Neo himself could complete it.Ģ) Completed the first level on Normal.

1) Started the game on Hard mode, couldn't even get past the first level.
